My name is Robert Cornelius, I was a seaman aboard the
USS ZELIMA (af-49) when I took this series of photographs during an unrep exercise approximately 1963. Taken insequence of events a nice wire hiline to the Carpenter. I just looked up the hull number because for many years this ship remained nameless to me because we unrepped so many ships. Sorry about the quality as I did not ask for the fog that day. I hope You can use them. I love all my navy day photos & I don't mind sharing as you see my signature.
